Geoff Blankenship, Owner of Epic Photo Imaging, has had a camera of some type in his hand since he was 10 years old.  In high school, he purchased his first 35mm camera, a Minolta SRT201.  He shot pictures for the Oscar Smith High School Yearbook and school newspaper.  Geoff was also a stringer photographer for the Chesapeake Post Newspaper during high school years.  To help pay his way through college, he owned and operated a part-time photo and video business—Blankenship Photography.  He also worked for Wolf Camera in Atlanta, GA, Southeastern Portraits and Neighbor Newspapers in the Greater Atlanta area as a photographer.  Prior to college graduation, Geoff served as a video and photography intern with Prime Cable of Atlanta, Ltd.  He expanded his communications prowess by providing video production services for five years to the annual North American Christian Convention producing events at venues in Atlanta, Los Angeles, The Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis, Oklahoma City and Cincinnati. From the late 80’s to early 90’s, Geoff was Editorial Production Administrator for Cincinnati’s own Standard Publishing Company, again utilizing his talents in the photo and video field and more so in print production and publishing.  While there he earned the Outstanding Leadership Award from the “Master Printers of America”/Printing Industries of America.  While he and Barb (his wife of 28 years) were raising their family, his commercial photo and video talents took a bit of hiatus (though not on the personal side—you should see the accumulation of pics).  For the last 10 years Geoff has been serving as a Contributing Photographer for The Cincinnati Enquirer/GANNETT with primary concentration in sports photography—check him out on Twitter @geoffsportspics.  Geoff now launches Epicphotoimaging.com.  This site is designed to give its viewers enjoyment and free pic downloads of a variety of photographic work from Geoff and his son Matt.  It also provides links to sports galleries posted on Cincinnati.com of which Geoff has provided pics for the exclusive rights of The Cincinnati Enquirer/GANNETT.  Just another way to get you to the great stuff on Cincinnati.com so check ‘em out daily.  ENJOY!
